This is a UK government grant which is provided by the Office for Low Emmission Vehicles (OLEV).
Can declare a need for electric vehicle charging equipment or an intent to encourage uptake among their staff and/or fleet. One charging point per vehicle can be claimed up to a maximum of 2 charging points per household
WCS provides a grant of £300 for each socket up to a limit of 20 towards capital expenditure which would otherwise be incurred as a result of the purchase and installation of a chargepoint.
The grant is available for most electric cars, vans and plug-in hybrid vehicles
The OLEV Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is available to organisations registered as businesses, a charity, or public sector organisation. This must be evidenced by either a Companies House refernce, VAT Registration Number, or HMRC Registration Letter.

Own the property or have consent from the landlord for chargepoints to be installed at all the sites listed in the application.
Applicants are also encouraged to have a site survey with an authorised installer ahead of applying to ensure the electrical capacity of the site can support the number of sockets applied for.
You must use an OLEV Approved* workplace charging point installer
*Kensington Electricians are an OLEV Approved home charging point installer
To claim the OLEV Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) applicants must first show they are eligible and are issued a voucher if they are successful
OLEV recommends that all applicants have a site survey by an OLEV Authorised WCS installer ahead of applying.
The voucher is valid for 120 days and the installation must be completed in this time
The OLEV Authorised WCS installer completes the installation and submits the necessary evidence of the electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints installation and submits the voucher to OLEV
The Authorised WCS installer must notify the electrical Distribution Network Operator.
